Fried Chicken Wontons
Who does not love crispy wontons. They are such amazing snack that irrespective of how much quantity you cook , you will never have a left over .
Ingredients
- Minced Chicken - 500 Gms
- Onion - Finely chopped - 1 cup
- Sprint Onion - Finely chopped - 1 cup
- Soy sauce - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Black Paper as per taste
- Wonton sheets (Square) - 40-50
- Egg - 1
- Oil to fry ( Approx 3 cups )
Method
- Take minced chicken , add finely chopped onion , spring onion , soy sauce , salt and paper
- Mix well all the ingredient and this will be your filling .
- In 1/2 cup water add one egg and beat well to make your egg wash
- Now for making wontons , take your wonton sheet ( Take them out of refrigerator at least 45 minutes before making wonton ) . Always keep them covered with a wet cloth or plastic wrap
- Take a sheet and put 1 tsp of filling at the center . Do not add too much filling otherwise the wontons may burst while frying
- Now make a small insertion with finger in top side of this triangle (The side with the filling )
- Heat oil for deep fry ( at least 3-4 inch deep , so that wontons will dip ) and fry the wontons till golden brown
- Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or hot chili garlic sauce
